ROLE: PROJECT COORDINATOR

RATE: EUR35-43 per hour

LOCATION: MONS

CLEARANCE: SC / NATO SECRET

Essential Requirements:

Following work-related experience is essential to fulfil the requirements and tasks listed above.

- Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience in Project Manager or Programme

Coordinator Role.

- Minimum 5 years of Air C2 experience with knowledge of its concepts, policies and

architectures.

Following skills/background is essential to fulfil the requirements and tasks listed above.

- University degree in Electronic engineering, IT or related discipline and 4 years post graduate related experience or a Higher Secondary education complemented with advanced vocational (military) training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 5 years post related and 2 years' function related experience.

- Knowledge of NATO project planning and funding and their related procedures.

- Working level knowledge of MS Office tools including MS Project.

Desirables:

Following work-related experience is desirable to fulfil the requirements and tasks listed above.

- NATO NSIP (NATO Security Investment Program) experience at Strategic Commands,

NATO HQ or NCIA.

- Military Operational Experience at NATO or National HQs/Units.

Following skills/background is desirable to fulfil the requirements and tasks listed above.

- Project Management related training and certification

SCOPE OF WORK:

The incumbent will be supporting a NATO Portfolio Manager, who will remain responsible for the portfolio of the projects.

The scope of the requirement is to support the Branch through the implementation phases of the Programme projects. The desired outcome is to successfully achieve the Joint Final Acceptance Inspection (JFAI) of the projects in accordance with the planned milestones.

More specifically the contractor shall develop, contribute, facilitate, and ensure the completion of the

following explicit tasks:

1) Assist and support Capability Package (CP) Coordinator in day-to-day CP management.

2) Support in the completion of CP Project Implementation Plan (PIP) and coordinate the implementation of the projects in accordance with the PIP.

3) Help formulate responses or impact statements regarding project implementation.

4) Plan and assist in organizing Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) events.

5) Help develop Site and System IOC/FOC transition plans.

6) Participate design, Verification & Validation activities, OT&E events and JFAIs and provide reports.

The contractor shall not be responsible for the performance of personnel. However, the contractor shall coordinate with the Section head and other stakeholders/branches to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are performed in a timely manner.
