Senior National Account Manager Dairy / FoodServices Home-Based - £70k + Car + Package

Huxley Engineering and one of the UK's leading Dairy Producers are looking to recruit Senior National Account Manager for their Production site, based in North-Wales area.

Please Note - This Senior National Account Manager is homebased, but the Senior National Account Manager is required to attend weekly management meetings in North Wales, as well as travel nationally as and when required.

Reporting into the Managing Director, the role of the Senior National Account Manager is to develop and execute business & sales strategy to deliver profitability and growth within foodservice sales via current & newly identified relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities for Senior National Account Manager:

- To analyse foodservice markets and to develop and implement an agreed market strategy to drive profitable growth of the foodservice business

- To professionally and effectively manage key accounts to maximise sales and account profitability building long term relationships, ensuring high levels of customer care and satisfaction and that customer and market requirements are clearly identified and communicated throughout the business;

- Monitor markets and pricing for all relevant foodservice products to ensure achievement of agreed margins and targeted profitability;

- Prepare budget and forecasts in conjunction with manufacturing sites as required and maximise the P&L by delivering growth in margin;

- Identify, deliver and manage new business opportunities spanning both branded and own label within the foodservice sector in GB.

- Deploy effective commercial decision making to protect and maximise margin using marketing and promotional tactics as appropriate. Manage tender responses and pricing to optimise volume/margin and overall profitability.

- Manage the customer interface across NPD, Logistics and Marketing to ensure winning propositions and first class service;

- Effectively manage commodity risk through ongoing analysis of market conditions;

For this Senior National Account Manager role, my client are looking for a Senior National Account Manager with the following knowledge, skills and expertise:

* Ideally Degree Qualified (not mandatory)

* Minimum of 5 years' experience

* Previous experience of working as a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager, selling Dairy Products into the Food Services Industry

* Previous experience of developing business & sales strategy to deliver profitability and growth.

For the successful Senior National Account Manager, a salary up to £70K + Bonus + Car + Package is on offer and the Senior National Account Manager can be home-based, but with the need to travel and/or attend meetings UK-wide as and when required.
