Insurance Software Consultancy.

Permanent.

50k - 60k.

Home Based / Consultancy on client sites (UK wide) +1 day work from home.

Business Analyst / Systems Analyst required to work with Outsource organisation that provides software integration and development consultancy to a range of multi-national Insurance Corporations largely based in the City of London.

The Business Analyst will run workshops to engage stakeholders to gather requirements for deliverables relating to the integration of software deployed by the consultancy into the existing enterprise application landscape largely relating to Policy Administration and Claims systems for both Personal and Commercial Lines of business.

You will identify and analyse problems and make recommendations towards solutions; create concise business specifications following detailed analysis enabling the development team to configure and customise applications to meet business goals; work with the testing teams to assist with the construction and execution of acceptance tests for the system(s) on behalf of users in a thorough and reliable manner.

We are searching for a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst / Technical Analyst who possesses experience gained with Policy Administration and Claims systems (ideally) for both Personal and Commercial Lines of business and who has worked on integration projects within the multi-national insurance environment.

You will be adept at eliciting requirements, creating business and where applicable technical specifications, running user acceptance tests and test teams and playing a pivotal role within the team structure to assist with the overall delivery of these systems.

You may have been working for an Insurance or Reinsurance company in either a contract or permanent capacity as a Business Analyst and keen to gain exposure to an additional range of Policy and Administration systems within numerous end user client environments.

You may also have gained some exposure to Guidewire (one of the systems which this consultancy implement for their clients) but this is not essential as this is not a focus of this role. Alternatively you may be working for one of the big 4 consultancies: KPMG, Ernst & Young (EY), Cap Gemini (CG) or Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC) within a similar Java Development position.

Please note that this role requires travel to sites across the UK and should you not be able to commute to a client`s location you will need to stay in the area on a weekly basis for up to 12-18 month stints. All expenses will be covered by the company including hotels, rental accommodation, train fares, car travel etc and subsistence.
