Mechanical Engineer (Marine) x2

(Monday - Friday, Days)

2 - 3 month + rolling contract

£14.00 - £18.00 per hour (Umbrella / Ltd Co)

Plymouth - Commutable from: West Looe, Widegates, Ivy Bridge, Ringmore, Bodmin, Torquay, Penpoll, Glampton, Liskeard, Tavistock.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with an appetite for an exciting challenge? I am pleased to advertise an opportunity to work on board a military boat based in Plymouth docks. The successful candidate will be security cleared by our client and will be involved in assembling, disassembling and overhauling military equipment located on the decks of the ship.

The unique opportunity is a temporary/contract position available for a committed individual with a good mechanical background and strong engineering knowledge. The contract starts immediately and will be a 2-3 month rolling contract.

The company you will be representing is a leading provider of quality design, building and installations of pneumatic and electronic components/systems in the aeropace, marine and transport sectors within the UK and abroad.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer looking for a contract role with a world leading company that is offering excellent rates of pay.

The Role:

*Assembling, dissembling and overhauling military equipment

*Requires individual to pass security clearance (No convictions)

*Working on military equipment

The Person:

*Proven Mechanical Engineer

*Available immediately (2-3 months)

*Marine based experience (desirable not essential)
