This company is a market leader in composite construction, designing, manufacturing and supplying to commercial and industrial sectors.

This is a key position in the QUENSH (Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health) Department, reporting to the QUENSH Director. You are required to support the effective functioning of the Quality Management System and provide assistance to the QUENSH Department and wider team, as required. This role is primarily Quality based but will enable the post holder to gain experience across Health & Safety and Environmental disciplines as well as Quality.

The ideal candidate will have had a background in operating within a Quality manufacturing environment and an excellent knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

The role:

*Assisting the QUENSH Director in the maintenance of Quality system to comply with the requirements of the company's current ISO 9001 Quality certification as well as internal H&S and Environmental management systems.

* Analyse feedback of information from customers and in-house quality issues to recommend changes to the Quality system, procedures and work methods.

*Provide a point of contact for Quality issues raised by customer.

*Drive complaints investigations through to completion with agreed business lead times and critically review and approve all investigation conclusions

*Assist the QUENSH Director with and carry out comprehensive internal audits as per the agreed audit schedule to validate the business performance against policies and procedures.

* Where required, to visit work sites/customers to liaise on Quality issues.

*Liaise with all departments to promote awareness of Quality principles, and hold meetings with key stakeholders to drive improvements.

*Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors on Quality issues to extend the quality service of the company.

*Liaise with third party organisations where required on system audit and quality issues.

The person:

*Understanding of ISO.

*Quality standards knowledge.

*Understanding of health and safety.
