Teamcenter Development Specialist - 12 month Contract - Bristol

As a Teamcenter Development Specialist you will be fundamental to our ability to deliver to our customers and clients. Our customer expectations are high, as such we are looking for adaptive driven people to deliver on time to required quality.

Type: 12 month Contract

Start: ASAP

Rate: £TBC per day

Location: Bristol

You will possess creative problem-solving skills in a team environment and comfortable with communicating clearly and efficiently throughout varying levels of both the customer and internal businesses. Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken by the client you will work in an environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a flexible attitude. Above all, you will have a desire to progress.

Purpose:

In conjunction with the Solution Lead, and where directed ensure that the technical direction and content of the assigned project is fit for purpose to meet the business requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Providing technical input to the engineering solution and operations projects to deliver the requirements as defined in the project business requirements dossier

* Working with third party suppliers, creating technical scenarios to validate solutions against the project business requirements

* Test solutions in the appropriate application(s) as delivered by the third party suppliers

* Utilising the ALM application for all test and defect management activities

* Identify, where required, technical resources necessary to achieve a successful project deliverable to the Solution Lead

* Escalating technical issues for resolution to the Solution Lead and/or Project Manager(s)

* Identification and update/generate the project specific documentation (e.g. Test Script(s), Solution Document(s), Functional Requirements Specification(s))

* Act as resolver group technical expert as required in the support process providing technical support for end user as well as the customer supply chain

* Manage key operations support tasks such as health monitoring, license management, PLM admin changes

* Manage and technically guide PLM super and key user to ensure their knowledge is up to date and the information flow between capability development, support specialists and end user is intact

* Capturing unresolved issues in ALM and providing information that will allow another user to reproduce the issue whilst raising awareness to the Test Manager

Skills and Requirements:

* Experience of creating workflows and providing test solutions

* Demonstrate working knowledge of CAD NX Configuration and NX Refiling

* Good knowledge of Teamcenter Reporting Tools - for reporting, analytics and dashboards, design and build would be advantageous

* Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly in English verbally and writing
