Assistant Finance Manager

Assistant Finance Manager needed for a contract with one of our Tier 1 banking clients based in Edinburgh. The role requires you to operate cost processes, deliver insightful cost analysis, support the delivery of benefits and identify cost-saving benefits. The candidate is required to be a qualified accountant and possess a proven track record in taking ownership of cost centre balances. As you will have to report your findings to senior stakeholders of the project, you are expected to have impeccable communication and stakeholder management skills so that you can effectively pass on your results.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the banking industry with one of the country's leading financial institutions, due to this, previous financial experience is preferred so that you are familiar with the industry but not essential for the 'right' candidate.

Key Accountabilities:

* Qualified Accountant

* Track record of cost center ownership

* SAP and TM1 system knowledge or ledger systems

* Business Reporting
