Project Manager - Spacecraft systems. You will be managing projects used to control spacecraft; you will be working alongside a diverse range of engineers who are experts in their field. Technical background in engineering, electronics and software related projects is essential. As is Project Management experience and a formal PM qualification such as APM or PMP.

You will be working as a technical project manager delivering projects in an extremely technical domain, it is likely that you have come from an engineering discipline yourself, most likely physics, mathematics, electronics or software engineering.

Key skills:

* An excellent technical background in science, electronics or software

* Experience delivering complex projects in technical domains

* Formal project management qualifications such PMP, APMP, IPM, PMI, MAPM or APM

Desirable skills:

* Experience managing concurrent projects and using different methodologies or price types (e.g. waterfall vs. agile, firm fix price vs. time & materials

* Experience from specification through to maintenance.

* Experience delivering projects in a regulated industry environment

* Bid management.
