Spring Technology are currently working with a large financial services organisation based in the City of London, looking for a Solutions Architect to work on an initial 6 month contract with the option to extend.

The Role

As part of a small group delivering a high profile portfolio the ability to work as part of a team driving new ideas through to realisation in short timescales is key. The core portfolio team is made up of a programme manager, a digital solution architect, business analyst/project managers. Project technical and delivery skills are sourced from the clients IT division and third party vendor delivery teams. The portfolio team is responsible for all aspects of requirements gathering, solution design, benefits realisation, programme reporting, supplier management, risk mitigation and project delivery.

Skills and experience required

* One or more of Java / JavaScript / Ruby

* Experience in large corporate environments and/or financial services

* Experience setting up continuous delivery environment

* Happy to work embedded with development as DevOps specialist

* Deep understanding of the Java / JavaScript build and deployment process

* Continuous Integration (TeamCity / Jenkins / etc.)

* Very comfortable with Windows Server and AD

* Capable of working with infrastructure teams to co-ordinate requests and changes

* Understanding of networking concepts (firewalls / routes / etc.)

* Working collaboratively with automation QA to integrate tooling for testing
