The products you will work with have grown out of the old gas safety regulator that has now joined our client’s Group. They’re passionate about bringing a new way of thinking to the energy industry and have incorporated Home Plan and Home Heat products into their range so that they can offer home assistance services as well as other products.

Our client is now seeking a Product Manager to join them and help to develop and manage these products to ensure they are second-to-none.

The Role:

As a Product Manager, you will be joining the standalone Home Heat product team. You will devise ingenious methods for customers with inefficient or broken heating systems to integrate more effective solutions using new technology which is now on offer.

Specifically, on a day-to-day basis, you will design functionality which will improve the performance of the Home Heat digital product set.

Your role will include:

- Working with technical experts and stakeholders to create products that will disrupt the heating sales market

- Developing products that will make life easier for customers

- Producing improvements whilst maintaining amazing user experiences across all our client’s digital products

- Creating user stories and acceptance criteria

- Developing a deep understanding of customers

- Utilising Agile methodologies and iterative feedback loops to build great products

- Taking part in dev and design stand-ups

- Getting involved in design sprints (not sure what that is? Our client will teach you)

Although primarily based in London, this role will involve occasional travel to Dunfermline.

About You:

So, what does it take to become a Product Manager with our client? To be considered, you will need:

- A degree from a top tier university

- A consulting or start up background or experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast paced competitive environment

- Experience of analytics tools and using data to help prioritise your roadmap

- A passion for beautiful products " obsessing over simplicity, clarity and pixel perfection

- A passion for digital, agile, software product management

- The drive to own, shape, and go all-in on a product

- To be highly driven to achieve your professional and personal goals

- To be a team player who embraces collaboration within your team and across different teams

You may have also held the title of Software Product Consultant, Digital Product Consultant, Product Development Project Manager, Digital Product Project Manager, or Project Manager.
