Leeds; Front End Developer

Up to £40,000 + flexi working + Occasional Home working

My client is a well-established business operating in the gaming sector with a number of exciting projects they are currently working on. They are doing extremely well and have an excellent office location just outside Leeds and now hiring another Front End Developer to join the development team.

As the Front End Developer you will be joining a team of close knit developers who are very experienced and super passionate about what they do. In this role you will be working with some of the most up to date technology in a varied and interesting role.

You will be reporting into the head of UX/UI, 80% of your time will be spent coding but you will also be expected to occasionally support the Head of UX/UI during holiday. You will be an ideas person, you will be encouraged to put ideas forward for process improvement based on your background, skills, experience and interests. My client is open to Front End Developers suggesting and introducing new technologies. Whether this is implementing a new Javascript framework such as Angular or ReactJS or just suggesting a different way of working.

My client have both a web and mobile presence and your role as a Front End Developer will involve fixing and updating the web part of the system. Some of the changes will be feature requests and others will be bug fixes.

To be considered for the role you will be experienced with Javascript, JQuery, HTML and CSS. If you have experience in Photoshop/Dreamweaver/Illustrator this would also be advantageous. .

You will have the opportunity to work with all of the below tech so if you have any experience with any of the below this will be very beneficial:

You will be an experienced Front End Developer, or already working as a Front End Developer looking to take the next step into this super dynamic, friendly and creative team.

In return for your amazing skills and experience you will be well looked after, the salary is up £40,000 + Flexible working + Occasional home working.
