IT Project Manager

Role Description

The IT Project Manager will report to the IT Project Office Manager and is expected to provide leadership and direction to logistics applications and infrastructure IT projects, covering the whole spectrum of project support, assurance and governance.

This person requires excellent relationship management to maintain effective and collaborative communication with internal key stakeholders, the end customer, and other 3rd parties. They will be expected to work closely with the Business and IT management to effectively manage an agreed portfolio of projects. Effective and relevant reporting will be essential.

Responsibilities

Lead IT projects, delivering a professional, customer focused and high performing service.

Ensure that appropriate project delivery methodologies, standards, processes and tools are successfully implemented.

Ensure project milestones, risks, issues, costs and controls are monitored and reported on through an effective governance model.

Provide executive/senior management (including clients) with relevant management information. Effectively manage the upward communication stream, especially in times of escalation.
