£40'000 - £45'000 + Pension + Training + Progression + 33 days holiday

Fantastic opportunity for an Applications Engineer to join a market leading company that are offering the chance to work on a range of diverse, interesting and challenging projects.

This company based in the South West operate nationwide and provide a range of electrical services which include but are not limited to, substation services, control panels, voltage control and monitoring solutions.

In this role you will work in the project engineering department where you will receive customer requirements, design high level applications, cost estimations, test and commission control and protection panels.

The ideal candidate will come from electrical background and have experience in an Applications role. Candidates that hold a degree in electrical engineering or similar are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

* Design high level applications

* Support Project Engineering Manager

* Approve technical documents

* Test and commission control and protection panels

The Person:

* Knowledge of electrical circuit theory

* Understanding of electrical power systems

* Effective communication skills
