Spring Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our market leading clients in Birmingham, who are on the look out for a Technical Writer / Author to join them for an initial 3 month contract. The pay rate for this position will be £300-350 per day, with a chance to extend, on a project running well into the New Year.

The role:

The client is looking a Technical Writer to produce high and low level technical documents for a business critical data centre migration project, due to be completed in 2018. Reporting into the programme manager, the client is looking for a strong technical writer / author with experience in writing IT documents, ideally within the following areas:

*Infrastructure

*Data centres

*Networks

*IT Security

*Storage / SAN

The client will be looking for someone who is assertive, can work autonomously and a good communicator, able to take technical requirements and communicate them effectively in high quality documentation.
