I have a wonderful opportunity to join a highly respected and very busy construction business in the upper echelons of the industry. Our client is working on a high value, and prestigious development in South West London, that includes a multitude of high rise residential buildings, that will be completed over the next several years.

We are seeking an experienced and capable Planner to lead and manage the planning function on this project, and you'll work very closely with the Management team to deliver current and future projects on time, and to budget.

It is imperative that you are a very capable and experienced Planner. You will be the only Planner on this project, so you'll have to be self-sufficient. Ideally you will have a deep understanding of the construction process, and maybe you'll have started your career in the building sector as an Engineer or Site or Project Manager, so you'll understand the various challenges during a project at the different stages.

Qualifications sought

Construction Management / Construction Qualification (such as HNC / HND or Degree desirable);

Professional Qualification (such as MCIOB desirable);

CSCS Card

SMSTS

Essential Experience

Over 5 years experience in high rise residential and mixed use construction / development.

Job Requirements

1 Detailed understanding of construction planning and programming;

2 Detailed understanding of construction sequences;

3 Detailed understanding of construction details;

4 Detailed understanding of site logistic requirements;

5 Monitor progress and report as required;

6 Detailed understanding of site presentation and appearance area requirements; and

7 Detailed knowledge and adherence to Company Quality Control Procedures (TQM)

Remuneration

Depending of experience we can pay between £50,000 and £75,000, plus benefits package. The benefits package includes a 10% yearly bonus, car allowance of £4.25k, private health and pension.
