Rate: £280 - £300 a day

A specialist M&E Contractor offering clients a turnkey solution through the design and build as well as maintenance of Data Centres throughout the UK, now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the business as a Data Centre Mechanical Project Manager to work on a live Data Centre site based in Central London on a long term contract.

As the Lead Mechanical Project Manager on site you will have the support of several Mechanical Project Engineers, below them will be a team of Supervisors and subcontractors.

The opportunity for the Mechanical Project Manager will be to deliver the mechanical package which includes a Fit Out and a Cooling Upgrade of a live data centre site.

Experience / Skills:

* Live SMSTS and CSCS card

* Ideally First Aid trained

* Mechanical bias, with experience managing M&E on projects

* Minimum of HNC/HND

* Recent Data Centre project experience is preferred

* Must offer experience managing costs and budgets on live construction projects

* Strong leadership and influencing skills

* Ability to organise own workload

* Ability to prioritise work and deliver to tight deadlines

* Able to establish a rapport with service users as necessary e.g. clients, members of the public, other contractors etc.

* Understands how to encourage and influence people to get the best from them

* Understands the needs of others and able to respond accordingly
