Project Manager - FinanceBased in the heart of the City, just a short walk from Bank station, a leading financial services organisation are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Adding value to what is already an incredibly talented team. Working alongside other experienced IT and Finance professionals, you will be tasked with managing delivery of IT change across the Group and Enterprise Applications IT division. The Group business areas have an exciting and challenging change portfolio to deliver in 2018 - including: GDPR, Cloud Migrations and Virtualisation projects, multiple IT projects supporting a new business driven Finance Transformation Programme, evolution of their BI Capability and a range of system enhancements to support revised business process. Role responsibilities: '€¢Build strong productive relationships with the managers and staff within the Business and across IT and with external partners in order to deliver effective solutions based on a deep understanding of the business drivers.'€¢Conduct Gate reviews to ensure that projects continually meet the needs of the commercial and operating requirements of the business.'€¢Identify and resolve business, IT and supplier issues in order to ensure that projects can be delivered on time and within budget'€¢Demonstrate control through production and management of Project Plans, Risk and Issue Logs and Budget summaries.'€¢Work with internal IT staff to deliver dependencies outside of the project team including, application integration, infrastructure and security'€¢Management of suppliers to ensure delivery according to agreed objectives'€¢Stakeholder management to ensure business buy-in and support, that they are kept updated of the progress of the projects status'€¢Provide mentorship and support to junior members of the team Skills Required: '€¢Strong Project Management experience in an IT environment'€¢Strong project governance, control, and end to end software development life cycle experience'€¢Excellent stakeholder, conflict and influence management skills.'€¢Experience working in a Matrix Management environment'€¢Vendor Management'€¢Team direction setting/leadership - mixed skilled, multi located teams.'€¢Project management professional qualification such as (Prince 2, APM, PMI)'€¢Previous experience working within an agile environment.'€¢Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business Benefits include: '€¢25 days holiday rising with service (maximum of 28)'€¢Private medical scheme'€¢Interest free annual season ticket loan'€¢Excellent pension scheme - 10% employer contribution / 5% employee contribution Project Manager - FinanceDue to the volume of applications received for positions it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
