Project Manager/contract/3 months/Warwick/IR35/Public Sector/

Spring Technology are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work with our public sector client deemed inside IR35. This is a contract position based in Warwick for an initial 3 month period with the potential to extend.

Main tasks will include:

*To manage the ICT project from initiation to implementation, including producing and agreeing estimates and plans

*Establishing resources

*Monitoring performance to plan, and taking appropriate action

*Reporting progress

*Maintaining appropriate standards and documentation throughout

Key skills for the role include:

*Effective project management skills dealing with the customer, suppliers and internal ICT staff

*Ability to deliver the assigned project within agreed budget by agreed deadline.

*The ability to read and comprehend complex IT documentation.

*Highly IT literate.

*The ability to organise and present written, numerical and graphical information in a clear, concise and informative way.

*Effective oral communication skills with the ability to influence others and establish credibility

*In-depth knowledge of the PRINCE2 project management method, and understanding of how to use it appropriately.

*Knowledge of project planning techniques such as estimating and critical path analysis.

*Good understanding of MS Project.

*Experience of the management of requirements gathering, structured testing and controlled delivery into an ICT production environment.

*Experience of managing suppliers in a project context.

*Experience of a similar project in another organisation, preferably public sector

*Prince 2 Practitioner

Desirable skills include:

*Previous experience of the Bentley Suite
