IS Business Analyst - West London - up to £50kpa DOE

The client

My client, a large multinational in the manufacturing industry, with a workforce circa 80,000 people from around the globe are looking to expand their IT Team.

The role

The IS Business Analyst will be instrumental in managing and supporting their new online e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for prioritising business requirements together with business functions and maintaining a reasonable balance between technology constraints and consumer needs.

You will understand and promote the Information Services Service Delivery Model, Information Services processes and Information Services portfolio of solutions. You will have the opportunity to identify and propose innovative IS solutions and services to address specific business and customer issues.

Main Responsibilities

*Manage B2C e-commerce and B2B trade/ retail engagement platforms to ensure operational excellence, in line with the corporate digital strategy

*Undertake project management activities, including producing the required documentation, management of the risks and budget

*Analyse, validate and document existing business processes and map functional and non-functional requirements onto the to-be process model in order to demonstrate the impact of change

*Design, model and document the to-be process, performing gap analysis and identifying areas for improvement

*Communicate with stakeholders and manage their expectations, working closely with internal and external parties, both local and remote

*Facilitate user acceptance testing of system changes and support change projects through to successful delivery, implementation and operation against pre-determined acceptance criteria

Key Requirements

*Degree in Computer Science or a related field

*Experience working in a IT business analyst or information systems analyst role

*Experience of working within both Waterfall and iterative/Agile project environments along with knowledge of methodologies (e.g. PMP and SCRUM) and tools (e.g. Jira / Confluence, Service-Now)

*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

*Agile and flexible, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and confront challenges and opportunities with speed, endurance and decisiveness

*Quick learner, motivated to explore imaginative solutions, draw insights from experiences and seek perspective from others
