Business Application Manager

For a big international client we are looking for a critical business application manager. This is a contracting position for 6 months with a chance of extension. The working location is The Hague. If you are looking for a new contracting role please read further.

In this role you are accountable for the operations of several landscapes and the delivery of application services according to the service level agreements. You drive problem resolution by assisting in delivery, fixes and supportability with the staff and several suppliers.

Your accountabilities are:

* Escalation point for operation related issues

* Monitor and maintain end-to-end performance

* Make sure that the application portfolio is compliant with IT controls

* Manage supplier contacts

We are typically looking for somebody with more than 8 years of experience within and IT application support environment. You have got a deep understanding of underlying infrastructure concepts and a deep understanding of ITIL processes. It would be a big plus if you have experience with IT project management and have been working in an international environment before.
