My client a world leader in their chosen market sector is urgently recruiting for a Security Solutions Architect on a 3 month contract on a primarily remote basis.

As Security Solutions Architect, you will be providing technical and solution leadership in defining and creating new security solutions using current and evolving technologies.

Provisional start date - Wednesday 17th January 2018

Responsibilities:

*Leading the design of (large / complex) solutions

*Driving the creation and owning the output of an agreed Security technology strategy

*Providing strong direction/leadership in the development of Security's IT agenda

*Controlling the design authority process for managing approvals at all levels, from strategy changes to project level design decisions

*Managing relationships with key vendors in the technology marketplace as well as those actively engaged within Security

Skills & Requirements:

*In depth technical knowledge of a wide range of IT systems and technologies

*Strong, proven experience of creating and implementing Architectural roadmaps

*A strong and current up to date knowledge of the security space with current and emerging technologies/arenas

*Ablility to provide practical, effective and innovative technical security architecture solutions

*Experience of providing detailed estimates for implementing designs, as required

*Possess strong leadership skills with experience of shaping, motivating and driving change

*Experience in vendor management with the ability to build credibility with peers and customers
