One of the world's leading manufacturers of raw materials for the construction industry is currently seeking a Project Manager to play an integral role in the next stage of their growth. Working within their marine division, this is an excellent opportunity for a driven, ambitious professional to join a multi-national organisation that offer extensive opportunity for career progression and development.

Scope of work

Working as Project Manager for the marine division of a leading manufacturer of raw materials in the construction industry, you will be tasked with the management and delivery of a number of projects related to business improvement and growth. You will play an integral role in bringing together resource and devising project plans, identifying key priorities and working to a defined timeframe in order to ensure each project is delivered in-budget and on-time.

The role of Project Manager will see you managing a range of projects at different values; this may range from £3m material delivery projects to £30m capex investments. These projects will require you to call upon your engineering and project management expertise to deliver them in a high quality, organised and efficient manner. It will also require commercial nous as you seek to deliver the project within budget.

This position will offer significant exposure across the organisation as you liaise with different departments across the business, as well as customers and suppliers. Through this, you will be able to develop your network as you compile and organise resource from across numerous departments within the company. A prime example of this would be an extensive Continuous Improvement project set to be launched across the whole UK business.

The position reports into their Hampshire facility, but would require the Project Manager to travel across the UK to different sites approximately 1-2 days a week.

You will:

* Have a proven record in project management

* Possess a mechanical engineering background

* Be able to demonstrate relevant examples as to where you've applied commercial acumen

* Be able to work collaboratively within a multi-discipline team

* Have a good skillset across engineering, project management and commercial disciplines

* Be able to think strategically and devise solutions

* Be able to commute to their Hampshire facility on a daily basis

* Be willing to travel around the United Kingdom to various sites approximately 1-2 days a week.
