Supply Manager - Switzerland - 7 months

Our client, a leading Consumer Health company based in Basel, Switzerland is currently seeking for a Supply Manager to be responsible for the entire Supply Chain from the Supplier to the Customer and is in charge to solve all related supply issues.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for a defined range of products, manage the market supply and the product lifecycle as Change Coordinator

* Act as a project manager for implementation of changes to improve existing products

* Ensure the compliance of defined processes and actively control defined Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) including execution of actions for improvement / optimization. (e.g. inventory levels, schedule attainment and customer service level, forecast accuracy, potential lost sales)

* Achieve a high customer service level, acceptance and reliability by proactively managing the communication between Supplier and Market

* Monitoring and assessment of gross or net sales demand from assigned affiliate (Canada) and from other affiliates and external customers receiving from site of responsibility (Management of SAP APO DP/SNP in consideration of inventory targets and master data settings)

* Creation and Management of Customer Sales Orders, Purchase Requisitions and Intercompany Purchase Orders

* Point of contact for assigned affiliate (Canada) and suppliers for the supply process of finished goods and bulk within North America Supply Region

* Exception based management of supply chain issues, direction and prioritization of the supply chain

* Lead product life-cycle projects, coordination of change requests for text and layout changes and product eliminations from a site perspective

* Monitor and act as observer for changes from other sites affecting the assigned affiliates

* Lead projects on inventory reduction and support complexity evaluation, making proposals and driving change

* Check applicability of requirements from GMP/GXP, ICS, Medical Device, Legal Requirements, Hazardous Goods and Environment Health and Safety regulations and ensure that these are followed

* Act as subject matter expert in projects

* Act as key account manager for assigned country with high sales volume, prepare and coordinate main country or regional Sales and Operations

* Manage key supply chain pipelines with defined key financials and propose improvement opportunities

Requirements

* BS/BA in Business, Logistics, Engineering or an equivalent qualification

* 1 - 4 years of supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry

* Experience in SAP SD/MM and SAP APO, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and other software packages

* Understanding of legal, regulatory and GMP/GXP environment in OTC marketing and manufacturing

* Sufficient theoretical and practical background in production planning, logistics and forecasting

* Experiences in Product Lifecycle Management projects

* Effective language skills in English to communicate technical and non-technical issues to various levels of management

* Proactive and analytical approach, solution oriented with the ability to solve problems and set priorities
