An Assistant Software Implementation Consultant is required to join a market leading company specialising in the development of ERP solutions and services for construction professionals.

The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established Professional Services team as an Assistant Software Implementation Consultant. This role is a pivotal in delivering software implementations, integrations and strategic consulting. The core to their ERP system is project accounting, budgeting and resource planning.

The selected candidate will be initially responsible for supporting an existing team of project managers in the full implementation life cycle. The right candidate can expect to progress to the role of project manager within 18 months. Services activities include:

- Pre-sales support,

- Requirements analysis, process mapping and client process review,

- Software configuration,

- Data migration,

- Client training

- Post implementation support & Account management

Essential Skill & Requirements

This role would suit someone from a software vendor specialising in ERP, CRM or accountancy software with minimum 1 - 2 years client facing experience. The candidate will have a strong commercial awareness and where necessary confidence to challenge convention. Demonstrate sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and respond to a highly demanding client base.

It would be ideal if you could demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Presentable, confident individual with proven organisational ability.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Good business and systems analysis skills

- Process mapping skills (as-is and to-be)

- Ability to translate complex business requirements down to the essential technical requirements.

- Proven Support Training skills

- Strong stakeholder management

- Willingness to travel including some overnight trips

Desirable

The following experiences/skills are not essential but would be advantageous:

- Knowledge of reporting and BI software. SQL SSRS, Power BI etc.

- Working towards accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) qualifications

- An understanding and experience working within the construction industry.

- Knowledge of accountancy software such as Sage, Access Dimensions or similar

- Previous experience working within a software vendor specialist for ERP, CRM or accountancy software.

- SQL/data interrogation methods
