A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Innovation and Improvement Manager to join a FTSE 250 Organisation based in Fareham, leading overall coordination of work-streams and activities necessary during implementation, providing coherency and visibility of contact implementation against all milestones. This role will support the leadership focus on change, to create and organisation which is innovative, agile and responsive to the new ways of working required by the Royal Navy.
Primary responsibilities include;
* Focus on training innovation, optimisation and collaborative working
* Develop and Maintain a co-ordinated approach to extension implementation plan
* Balancing delivery, cost and risk
* Strategic Direction for approach to key projects
* Introduce and lead new approaches in the design, development and delivery of modern learning solutions
* Accountability over the Training deliver and design innovation and improvement
* Proactively communicate and drive results
* Positive and constructive working relationships
* Provide operational leadership
* Manage budget for Innovation and Improvement team
Qualifications and Requirements
* Demonstrable experience of leading change and innovation and producing detailed business cases for change
* Proven ability to provide innovative training solutions to meet customer requirements
* Professional qualification in programme/project management and successful delivery of change management programmes
* Demonstrable proven and recent experience of programme management
* Proficient in the use of IT and working with MS Project
* Highly competent in applying relevant tools and techniques to support decisions and thinking creatively about problems and problem solving options
* Experience in applying Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) - Desirable
* ILM Level 5 Certificate (Coaching and Mentoring in Management) - Desirable
* Maintains a positive and enthusiastic approach whilst delivering targets and goals
* Leading Innovation and Change - views challenges as opportunities and is proactive in the development of new approaches and relationships. Actively drives a positive attitude to change in creating a highly adaptive learning organisation
