A company working within the scientific industry are seeking a Project Engineer (Electronics) to join their team near to Liverpool. If you have electronic design and development experience, and the ability to innovate and improve products, then you may be the Engineer/manager we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a Project Engineer/Manager, you'll be responsible for developing new products and redesign existing products using best practice engineering techniques. You'll have the ability to work to schedule and cost targets, as well as incorporate a broad understanding of manufacturing processes into the design work. In addition to this, you'll set up, carry out and interpret product testing throughout the full development lifecycle.

What skills/experience should you have?

* Degree in electronics engineering or similar field OR significant experience of engineering design with a HNC/HND

* Strong technical and analytical skills

* Experience in the design of small automated systems

* Understanding and experience of FPGA, SMPS, uControllers and mechatronics
