An excellent opportunity has become available for an Electronics Engineering Manager role based in Cheshire. They are looking for a highly skilled and passionate engineer who enjoys the hands on side as well as the managerial as you will be in charge of a number of Hardware Engineers. As their Electronics Engineering Manager you will be responsible for training, leading, mentoring and approvals within the team. You will also have a huge responsibility as you will recruit your own team. You will be completing a wide range of engineering activities covering all stages of the engineering lifecycle; from concept through to verification and validation of production systems. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop electronic solutions that successfully meet with the overall objectives of the project.

You will be expected to have a range wide of knowledge on Electronic design, this may include:

* Analogue and Digital circuit design and Analysis

* PCB Layout design and supervision including the use of tools for schematic capture and circuit simulation

* Power supply design

* Design for EMC

* Highly experienced in PCB design

Management responsibilities:

* Experience leading/managing a team of electronic engineers to successfully support and complete projects

* The ability to develop new products and complete the electronic design to tight timescales

* To complete business plans and be able to plan ahead and budget for future projects

* Have excellent English communication skills
