For our banking client we are currently looking for a

Project Manager - Data Networking, Multimedia

Start date: asap

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Zurich

In this role you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, delivery of various multimedia projects, deliver IPTV, Digital Signage and Audio Visual Room solutions as required by the bank.

Main tasks:

- Project Communication, including gathering , consolidation, as well as synthesize information from various sources in order to gain consensus on proposed process change, transformation

- Project Execution, work collaboratively across people of all levels within the organization and external vendors to deliver, per scope definition

- Develop and maintain effective project reporting providing Senior Management with timely visibility to status, risks and progress for all projects.

- Organize & chair project meetings. Ensure each meeting is driven off prior minutes and actions.

- Creating, managing and executing project plans

- Risk and Issue Management

The ideal candidate is :

- Very experienced Project Manager

- Technical with good knowledge of data networking (routing, switching) and AV products.

- Has experience delivering complex infrastructure projects

- Bring specific experience or exposure to data networking and multimedia projects or products in the last 3-5 years.

- Experience in a banking, financial area

Technical Skills:

- Experience working with Project Sponsors, or a SME responsible for leading business change, transformation initiatives

- Very good MS Office skills, Visio to develop process flows, Excel to compile and analyze data , and PowerPoint to develop presentations

- Good understanding of SDLC models (e.g. waterfall, agile, scrum)

- PMP or Prince certification is a plus

- Development experience is a plus

Technology:

- Crestron, Polycom (Trio)

- Enterprise unified communications collaboration solutions (e.g. Cisco, Skype for Business, Polycom)

- Network switching/routing (LAN/WAN) a plus

- Active Directory

- Cabling (Cat 6, HDMI)

- Dedicated/Virtual servers

- IPTV (TriplePlay)

Other important skills:

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills

- Strong conflict management skills, must keep people accountable for delivery

- Strong communicator, willing and able to contribute to discussion and work collaboratively.
