My client is looking for a software product manager to join in either their Matlock or Derby. In this newly created role you will be working as part of the Technology arm of business and be required to lead the delivery of their industry focuses software projects.

This role will see you:

*Managing the delivery of projects with in the product roadmap, to time and in budget

*Aid the Technology director with the Business Development, Sales and Tendering aspects of product management.

*Being able to balance the role of line management of a team of developers, team/ project leads and technical architects

*Lead and contribute on software development projects with in the teams by undertaking analysis, planning, design and development projects

*Ensure the design and development of robust maintainable software for project as allocated.

*Liaising with the project lead or product manager including "chairing" daily stand ups, as well as elicit and capture requirements and oversee the production of testing documents as required.

To be successful in this you will have:

*Significant experience in "mainstream" programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, and SQL.

*Experience of administration in Microsoft Sql Server or other RDBMS and experience of NoSQL would be highly advantageous.

*Ant experience in the effective application of TDD/ Automated testing ,Continuous Integration, Bug Tracking Processes, agile development, Resharper, WPF / MVVM would also be highly desirable.

*Passion for delivery of quality software products and services in a LEAN environment.

*Previous experience in either Product Management or Development team management in a Microsoft Environment

In return for your skills my client is looking to pay a salary of circa £50000 ( more or less depending of experience) as well as a fantastic benefits package including, but not limited to private health care, generous pension, green allowance etc.

This role can be based in Matlock or Derby but travel to the other site on occasion will be expected.
