Excellent position available for a Maintenance Manager at a leading food manufacturer who are known for looking after their staff.

Do you have man management experience within the manufacturing industry? Do you have a strong understanding of health and safety procedures?

This food manufacturer is the market leader within their industry, and are currently expanding their operations to open a second factory. They have a strong maintenance team already who keep their factory running 24 hours a day. This is a new role created to help manage the growth of the business.

This role is primarily based around the man management of the engineering team, including planning and scheduling. You will have excellent knowledge of health and safety principals to ensure that compliance is met. You will also be heavily involved in project management such as new product introduction, working closely with the other managers.

This role would ideally suit a mechanically biased maintenance manager who is looking to develop their career within the food industry with an industry leader.

The Role:

*Overseeing a Department of roughly 15 engineers

*Ensuring maximum availability of assets through an effective maintenance plan

*Allocation of workload to maximise engineering resource

*Ensuring compliance to health and safety legislation

* £50,000-£55,000 + Overtime + Pension + Life Assurance + 25 Days Holiday

The Person:

* Mechanical Engineering Background

* Excellent health and safety knowledge

* Man management experience

* Must live within a commutable distance of Chessington
