A new vacancy has arisen for a Senior Digital SoC Architect to join an innovative multinational developing complex SoCs for the consumer and wireless sectors. Based in Prague, the successful SoC Architect will work closely with the Project Manager and take responsibility for determining the design specification and architecture of complex ICs for a varied and very interesting array of projects. The SoC Architect will work closely with the customer to discuss and advise on design requirements, ensure projects meet the highest technical standards and, overall, play a significant contribution to the roadmap of the business.

The ideal candidate will have:

* An Honours degree or post graduate qualification in Electronic Engineering / similar

* Extensive experience in design of large ICs/System-on-Chip designs

* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and an ability to work well with customers

* Fluent Matlab skills

Beneficial (but not essential):

* Experience developing DSP algorithms for high speed communications

* Understanding of analog / mixed signal IC design
