Sourcing Expeditor

12 Months Contract

Based in Rugby with some travel to Trentham area for client visits

£20 to £25 per hour pay

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Expeditor of Components is responsible for performing expediting interventions to

ensure Manufacturing progress according to the approved baseline schedules of the

project and supplier.

Essential Responsibilities:

Prior intervention

* Collects documentation relevant to equipment to be expedited as per project and sourcing requirements as well as client instructions

* Organizes briefing with Expediting Manager (Sourcing/Project team) before leaving office

* Confirms intervention with supplier (date & time, location, contact).

* Organizes travel and accommodation

During intervention

* Performs Expediting intervention as per requirements

* Review Action Log and confirm status (if any)

* Identifies and report delays (if any) together with mitigation plan proposed by the supplier.

* Collects information from supplier about next intervention date

* Escalate issues internally within sourcing and project team as well as within the supplier whenever is needed

After intervention

* Updates status to the Expediting Manager (Sourcing/Project Team)

* Prepares and send intervention report to Expediting Manager (Sourcing/Project Team).

* Review next steps

Other duties

* Supports monitoring of engineering and quality documentation for identified critical

documentation or when requested.

* Support witnesses inspections and customer meetings when requested
