Position: Scrum Master
Location: Dublin South
Salary: EUR400e per day Day Rate Contract (Negotiable Dependant on Experience)
Contract Type: 6 Months
Start Date: Up to 1 Months' Notice Period Accommodated
SCRUM MASTER
Our client a global technology giant is looking for an Senior Scrum Master to join their team and support their client within the Financial Services on client site in the South of Dublin
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
* Enforce and promote SCRUM disciplines.
* Facilitate the agile process for development teams
* Work in an agile team environment
* Work on business-critical applications, supported by a team of technical and business experts.
* Promotes healthy team environment and removes impediments
* Ensures team is delivering / aligned on project vision and goals
* Work with multiple product owners to write and develop clear, non-implementation specific epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Interview product owners to understand as-is business processes and then develop customer-driven to-be processes.
* Progressively improve our demand side and analysis practices, focusing on waste elimination, demonstrating this improvement with the hard data.
* Support and contribute to the metrics driven culture within our function.
* Develop a good understanding of the channels, Data and customer business strategy, the business model and priorities.
* Translate business requirements into actionable change for fast delivery of technology.
* Ensure rigour in the process by challenging and validating in the business needs to improve the quality of the deliverables.
* Improve the quality of the deliverables and reduce the cost of development by ensuring that business capabilities are clearly communicated and are accurately reflected in the high-quality Epics and User Stories.
Scrum Master Experience and Skills Required:
* Proven experience as Scrum Master
* A strong background in financial services / banking and a proven ability to quickly understand the business strategy and objectives
* Significant experience in an agile environment
* An IT background with solid grounding in technology is essential
* 5+ years in the role of Scrum Master, XP coach, or Agile servant leader
* Communication, group dynamics, collaboration and continuous improvement are - core being best practice driven
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Agile/Scrum Certification
