Application Support Engineer / IT Support Analyst / Front Office. One of the UKs largest Investment Management firms with $billions of assets under management is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with experience of supporting Front Office users (traders, strats, quants).

Utilising your broad knowledge of databases, operating systems and networks you will provide Application Support; systematic problem management including communication, resolution, post mortem, remediation and prevention; work with Change Management to mitigate risk during the implementation of new software and processes and ensure that documentation is continually reviewed and updated. You'll strive for continuous improvement and mentor junior members of the team.

Requirements:

*Experience of supporting Front Office users, ideally within an asset management environment

*Good knowledge of the business objectives and day to day processes of Front Office environment

*Experience of supporting a broad range of applications

*Excellent diagnosis and fault finding skills

*Good relational database skills, understanding of messaging and middleware, portfolio management, analytics and trading systems

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills including stake holder management
