Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias (FMCG)

Do you come from an FMCG background? Have you had any exposure to PLC's?

Established over 25 years ago, this company are one of Europe's largest specialist food manufacturers and due to the continued success and a recent promotion, they now seek an additional Maintenance Engineer who will be trained and developed into an industry specialist.

In this role you will fault find and breakdown repairs of plant and service equipment, you will undertake preventive and reactive maintenance. You will have an involvement in continuous improvement and capital projects, supporting and coaching relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance. As this role is electrically bias, you will have the chance to shadow mechanical engineers and be trained into becoming a multi-skilled expert.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical qualification, HNC or equivalent and have experience in PLC's

* Maintenance, Fault find and repairs to plant and service equipment

The Candidate

* Electrical bias with a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent

* Has had exposure to PLC's

* Has an FMCG background

* Basic Mechanical skills
