We are recruiting for a Technical Account Manager join this leading provider of web services to the e-commerce sector. This is a unique role covering duties of Technical Product Manager/Project Manager and implementation consultant. Providing bespoke and White-Label products predominantly to online stores this role will focus on working closely with external facing accounts to ensure products meet demand and the customer needs are always attended to.
Responsibilities of the Technical Account Manager:
* Work closely with clients, being a focal point for operations, commercial and operations to come together and all work for the best of the clients.
* Assist with the roll-out of new products and ensuring data integrity when products are upgraded.
* Provide technical guidance during client integration's and implementations.
* Provide feedback on technical issues and client demands to Product and engineering team.
* Work on Product backlog.
* Create prototypes and proof of concepts to clients to show the improvements and upgrades available to products.
Skills and Background Required for Technical Account Manager
* Experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager or Account Manager in a technical role, working with external clients to deliver product upgrades and improvement.
* Demonstrable experience of hand-holding clients through difficult implementation period, assisting with creating plans and being a hub of technical expertise.
* A strong understanding of Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript or HTTP.
* Prior experience assisting with QA and workflow assistance.
* Knowledge of any of the following would be highly beneficial but not essential: C#, Pearl. Python, SQL/
* Experience managing Product delivery from inception through to delivery.
* Knowledge of aggregator or marketplace websites wold be highly advantageous.
The Technical Account Manager is based near London Bridge.
The Technical Account Manager will pay in the region of £50-£55,000 depending on experience.
