Job purpose

Global IT SDM Back Office

My client needs to reinforced its SDM Back Office team with a PeopleSoft Solution Specialist in order to support France Business for legal DAS2 report

*PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, PTools 8.55

On top of below Solution Specialist activities description, the consultant will:

*Seat close to the Business on a day to day basis to

*Support the DAS2 process

*Help in data extraction, perform data analysis

*Reflect on business process efficiency

*Propose enhancements in process or tooling

Solution Specialist activities

*Own a deep functional knowledge of PeopleSoft financial system

*Gather and analyse business requirements, Provide estimates for new requirements

*Coordinate with Solution Manager to validate solution accuracy

*Drive Design workshops with Business and deliver Functional Detail Design for Customisation's, Enhancements, Reports and Interfaces

*Support Developers for Build, Deliver configurations

*Coordinate with Technical teams for migrations

*Contribute to Tests Design with testing team, sign off tests cases design

*Perform Integration tests and support Testing team for Tests execution

*Support defect analysis and bug fixing for integration testing and user acceptance tests

*Assist the users in their User Acceptance Tests (UAT)

*Contribute to cut over plan and move to production activities

*Ensure Post Go Live support (Incident & Problem Management, Service Request fulfilment)

*Handover to maintenance team

*Produce and records all methodology-related deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and meet audits requirements

*Provide consultation and recommendation for improvements, new solutions and modifications

*Good to excellent knowledge of Finance processes, specifically of AP. Knowledge of GL and AM business processes is also necessary. AR, PO, BI and others would be beneficial

*Proven experience in the role of Financials solution specialist or business analyst

*Strong experience and knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM

*Good interpersonal relation skills, effective communication

*Strong team player

*Ability to manage a number of activities concurrently and to drive them to completion.

*Creative and analytic approach

*Able to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense

*Customer focus

At least 10 years of experience in a similar role

English (fluent)

French (fluent)

Will report to Project Manager

Mission based in Lyon
