Civil/Electrical Site Supervisor-Substation Construction

Site/Field Based position-Covering a South East England patch

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Car + Bonus & Pension, holiday, life assurance, flexible benefits

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor from a civils, electrical or utilities background, and are you looking to join a company with a clear plan to progress your career over the coming years?

On offer is the opportunity to join a company at the forefront of providing HV & LV power supplies across the country. Due to their recent expansion they are looking for an experienced supervisor to work on a range of construction and utilities projects, as a newly created role.

As you skills and experience develop you will be given the opportunity to work on more complex and higher value schemes.

This position will directly supervise all site activities relating to Major Project Construction activity ensuring its safe and successful delivery. This role is project based and the successful candidates will work on certain projects until their completion

This will include:

* The supervision of assigned resources to effectively deliver specific tasks that contributes to the safe delivery of a project, to time cost and quality.

* To ensure compliance to safe working practices and procedures of both themselves and others throughout the construction phase.

* Coordinate Site Specific Risk Assessments and preparation of Method Statements where necessary for work to be carried out, ensuring compliance at all times with the company's duties under CDM regulations, Distribution Safety Rules and Design Approvals.

The person:

* Relevant experience of supervising major projects in either a civil or electrical environment

* Supervising and leading teams, including NRSWA, SMSTS, CSCS (please only apply if you have at least 2 of these)

* Working for a construction company or have experience of construction of distribution substations.

The role will be home/field based covering a South East patch from the London/SE area, so you will be located in London

Individuals must have a full UK driving license and be willing to travel.
