Infrastructure Engineer

£30,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

A well-known market leader who was established over 40 years ago is looking at the future of their technology department. Bringing on board technology specialist to help drive change and manage the new infrastructure this is an exciting time to get involved.

We are seeking a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for the organisations network infrastructure, support applications and systems including the support and delivery of software and technology projects as set out by the IT Service Manager.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential experience and knowledge required for this Infrastructure Support Specialist role includes:

* Server - Microsoft 2008, 2016 Support & Performance Analysis

* VMware - Vsphere 6.0/6.5

* Email - Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2016 Support

* Azure and Office 365

* Network - LAN/WAN - DHCP/DNS

* Active Directory & Group Policy

* Powershell / Scripting

* Firewall Management Knowledge / Experience

* Change, Availability & Capacity Management

* SQL - 2008/2016

* Data Backup Applications (Asigra/Symantec experience would be ideal)

* Antivirus (Trend and forensic analysis experience advantageous)

* Server/Desktop application support

* Windows 7 and 10

* Project, document and time management

* 3rd party management and escalation

* Autoline/Kerrigde; Fortinet; Remote Access Systems (2FA); Storage Systems (SAN/NAS) support and performance analysis and MDM knowledge/experience is also desirable, but not essential
