This website development agency and software provider are on the lookout for an experienced web developer to join their team developing digital solutions for their ever-growing portfolio of clients.

With over 120 clients currently on their books no two days in the studio are ever the same. They need a team-player who can develop new websites as well as resolving first level support issues, picking apart existing legacy sites and bringing new talent to the business.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

- Work with colleagues to implement websites and other digital solutions

- Liaise and communicate with clients during development

- Participate in solution testing, taking responsibility for standards

- Report and discuss project progress with project managers and colleagues

- Provide client technical support and training

- Contribute to internal development process improvement thinking and activities

- Supporting clients with daily issues

- Support colleagues to develop client project specification documents

- Contribute to project plans to ensure timely completion of deliverables

- Produce technical resource and time estimates to support sales and proposal costing activities

- Attend client meetings to discuss requirements, contribute recommendations, demonstrate functionality and prototypes and review project progress

- Determine and recommend appropriate software architectures and other technical solutions, including new technologies

Experience Required

- Two years previous agency experience

- Excellent WordPress theme development skills

- Strong knowledge in the following areas - PHP, MySql, jQuery, CSS, HTML, SASS

- Knowledge of PHP development frameworks and GitHub desirable

- Apache server administration experience would be helpful

- Confident communicator
