Excellent role on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineerlooking to join an industry leading manufacturer, where you will work on technically interesting products and run your own projects from cradle to grave.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer? Are you looking to join a company who are actively investing in the design and development of new and exciting products?

This highly reputable company design and manufacture specialist torque tools for customers across the world. Every aspect of their business operates out of their UK site; from R&D and Assembly to Procurement and Sales. Due to their continual success they require a Mechanical Design Engineer to help with the design and introduction of new products.

In this varied and autonomous role; you will manage your own NPD projects from start to finish, assist with concept reviews & drawing changes, design jigs & fixtures etc. You will receive specialist training on electro-mechanics, control systems, Solidworks and more to learn new aspects of the company.

This role will ideally suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a leading company, that heavily invest in their employees and offer a varied and challenging position with the chance to progress long term.

The Role:

* Managing NPD projects

* Continued improvement of existing products

* Liaising with manufacturing and production staff

The Person

* Mechanical Design Engineer

* Must be experienced with 3D design

* Will have knowledge of bringing products into manufacturing processes

* Must be able to commute to Guildford
