Application Support Specialist

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced, hands-on IT Systems Administrator/ Manager on behalf of a leading distributor of homeware products located in South London. You will be responsible for optimising their internal systems and associated processes to support the future direction of the business.

You will be responsible for all core business applications systems (software and hardware) globally, ensuring all are available with maximum uptime, and driving system change as necessary to support business efficiency. Strong ERP experience is highly advantageous as an immediate project the successful candidate will embark on is reviewing their current legacy system and replacing it with something more suitable i.e. NetSuite, SAP B1, Sage, Infor, Epicor etc.

Primary Responsibilities

* IT Service Support for:

PIMRa (PLM), ERP, Shopify Website, PixSell, Brandwise, Office 365 and all systems integrations.

* Set up and maintenance of client PCs, printers and telephony including first level support/response.

* SQL Business Reporting

* Delivery of Systems (new systems implementation working to agile methodology)

* To be an active player in IT Strategy moving forwards (review and improve IT systems to ensure core business processes meet and exceed growth requirements)

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications

* IT service / applications delivery & support experience

* Worked in Wholesale/Retail - supply chain systems & processes (Preferable)

* Experience with ERP (Mandatory)

* Experience of E-Commerce and Trade globally

* Hands-on IT support - full range of end-user support from service provisioning to retirement

* Formal IT and/or programme processes e.g. ITIL Foundation / AGILE

* Management of third party vendors and service providers (from selection, through execution to closeout)

* Experience of E-Commerce and Trade globally

* SQL Reporting
