My client in Waterford is recruiting an R&D Engineer. You will work at a large healthcare company with over 10,000 employees in 100 plus countries around the world. The culture in place is about knowledge sharing, teamwork and improvement.

What does the role consist of?

You will work in a cross functional team driving improvements in molding technology and machine part designs. You will drive new product & process validations and design, execute, and analyse experiments. As an R&D Engineer, you will troubleshoot on and work on continuous improvement as a team. You bill develop and support new manufacturing processes and technologies.

What skills are desirable?

* You need to have a level 8 degree in Engineering / Science or related discipline

* You need to have 2-4 years' experience in a similar role working in Engineering, Process Development, and/or Quality Engineering setting

* Six Sigma Green Belt or DFSS experience preferred

* Previous experience with high volume and/or high precision manufacturing a plus
