The company hold a nationwide presence and are multi-disciplinary specialists. They have built a reputation for offering tailored services to accommodate for clients specific needs. Due to a period of incredibly high growth the company are on the lookout for a talented Engineer to join their team. They are now looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to help with the additional workload and allow for sustained growth.

In this role you will be an integral member of the company and carry out work on Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments. You will be based at the company's office in Derby with an expectation to go to site for inspections. As a crucial member of the department you will be responsible for a mixture of inspections/assessments, writing reports, meeting with clients, local authorities and contractors & sometimes be expected to work from height and within derelict buildings.

The Role:Carry out structural surveys sometimes at height and in derelict buildingsWrite detailed reports on your findingsEngage with the other departments of the companyTravel required around the country to various sites

The Person:Degree qualified and either previous experience in Conservation Engineering or have a strong interest in training in itAbility to engage with clients and other construction professionalsHave an interest in historic and listed buildingsFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
