This includes, focusing on methods, and approaches; working with others to implement and embed within our end-to-end engineering activity. Play an active part in the Engineering Leadership team, supporting others & directly reporting into the Engineering Lead (Band G) for the Lab Working with teams and partners to define, agree and implement optimal engineering approaches; utilising the right tools, techniques, and platforms to achieve the best possible outcomes for the business. Leading, inspiring, and managing individuals to continually improve and develop their engineering knowledge and capabilities; working in collaboration with other leaders to maximise the benefit of this capability within our teams. Working collaboratively with others to achieve shared success through regular, reliable, and high-quality change delivery. Join us on our journey and you will too… What you'll needThe knowledge and ability to lead diverse engineering change, including technical deliveries and engineering improvements, utilising efficient agile methodologies. Experience of leading and embedding engineering transformation initiatives across teams & the Lab. A strong Engineering background with broad knowledge of tools, techniques, and platforms, including cloud hosting. An understanding of how Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment operates and can be applied in a modern Engineering environment. Strong collaboration and communication skills and an enthusiasm for advocating best practice across Product & Engineering.
