We are currently looking for a SQL Database Administrator to work for a Defence client in Farnborough. This will require being fulltime onsite. High level clearance is also required.

Essential Skills

Database Administration (SQL Proficient)

Database Security

Database Performance Tuning

Backup & Recovery

Clearance: SC minimum / DV (or willing to undergo)

Desirable Skills

High Availability and Disaster Recovery

Database Security Auditing

Security Best Practices

Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve database related errors and issues

Experience of other database platforms such as mariaDB
