Lead ASIC Architect

This is a new opportunity for a Lead ASIC Architect to join a successful semiconductor company based in Paris. The role can be based fully remotely, or from the Paris office.  

Our client is seeking an experienced digital IC design expert to join as a Tech Lead and Architect. The role involves taking ownership of chip and block level architecture definition and implementation, and leading a small digital IC team to deliver state-of-the-art ICs in deep submicron CMOS technology. This is an exciting opportunity to have real impact and influence within this young, rapidly expanding company, which designs highly integrated mixed signal products for a wide range of markets including wireless communications, defence, and aerospace.

The Lead ASIC Architect will have:

• Extensive experience within Digital IC Design, with experience defining new architectures
• Expertise in Verilog / SystemVerilog / VHDL
• A very good understanding of the complete digital IC design flow from RTL - GDSII
• Previous experience working on the digital part of mixed-signal / analog ICs would be a benefit, but not essential
• Fluent language skills in English required
• Eligibility to work in France
